How long have you been in business?
Alpha-Care has been serving East Central Illinois for over 20 years. The current ownership group has been in place for the past four years.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide three types of services for our clients. Most of our clients seek us out for private duty home care where we provide assistance with daily living activities through our team of well trained home care aides. We also provide skilled home care services to pediatric and adult patients. These services are provided by nurses. Our third service is provide relief staff to hospitals, clinics and nursing homes to assist in covering for short term staffing needs that they encounter.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The Alpha-Care ownership team and management group have been involved with healthcare for most of their careers. David Line the president of Alpha-Care has over 30 years of healthcare experience. Karen Coobs, RN, Director of Client Services has over 15 years of experience.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We truly focus upon service and strive to be compassionate, dependable and professional in all that we do. We want our clients to be treated as if they were our own family members.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have offices in Champaign, Charleston and Danville and we hop to open an office in Decatur in the neas future.

What type of payments do you accept?
Most of our clients are pay us directly for the services they receive. We will bill long term care insurance and health insurance if the services being provided are ones they will cover. We do not participate in Medicare. Call us if you have a question pertaining to insurance coverage.
Which areas do you service?
We can serve clients as far south as Effingham, east to the Indiana state line, North to Gibson City/ Hoopeston and west to Monticello. When we add the Decatur office we will be able to increase our coverage area to the west.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The company is run by David Line and he has over 30 years of healthcare experience. David and a group of Champaign based individuals own the company.
What are your hours of operation?
Alpha-Care Health Professionals provides services 24 hours per day on a weekly basis. We can take calls via our 800 number around the clock and will respond to them as soon as required.
